So far cry primal, was definitely one of those games when it first came out, I really loved it. I thought it was an exciting direction for the game to go in, experience something quite new. However, I think (spoiler alert) that the characters and short JUST fell short in the end. I loved the world design and I loved the fact that you had an animal buddy (after a certain point in the game – but it is in the beginning so no worries there) that aspect was hella fun as you are able to control them in combat and send them to kill your enemies.

Speaking of the enemies, I thought that they were generally harder in this game than in previous Far Cry games I have played. (to be completely fair, I played this one on a harder level because I have finished it before so thought, why not… why not indeed)
I think my personal favourite touch was the language used in the game, you really felt like you had to concentrate and that was key to knowing what was cracking.
I also really enjoyed the fact that when you saved people they joined your tribe and the more people you saved the more benefits you received.
Going back to how awesome the world design was, I loved the fact that there was a day-night cycle and the weather was also a factor. Day time, you skip through the forest (avoiding the occasional bear and perhaps a moody mammoth), at night… things get intense, first of all, you need fire to see… cause you know… night time, but also it stops the predators from just running at you trying to kill you. I had a few jump scares during the night cycle, sort of like in Dying light though, you can sleep and not experience it, but there is no point in doing that really.
Also on PS5 (Which I do not have I might add) look at these graphics: YouTube – Damn son

I think regardless if you liked this game loads or a little, you had to admit that having a big ass cat was amazing. I called mine Alan and at one point when he died – I was actually upset, then he respawned and everything was peachy again, and we killed all the guys who had dared wrong us…
