Dying Light 2 Stay Human… this game sent me on a rollercoaster of emotion and it has nothing to do with the game/story itself, when I first bought this game, I was super excited. I loved the first one, it was genuinely scary running around and away from zombies.
Before I slate the game a little more, let me say that I have grown to really love this game, I think the work that they have done with the update roadmap has made it such a better game.
So the first game comes out in 2015 and let’s say I played it in 2018/2019 – were the graphics a little outdated, yes they were but the story and the gameplay were good enough to keep me excited till the end of the game. Cut to the beginning of 2022 and the new one comes out I played it and my lord… the glitches etc were so bad that I decided to stop playing it, I really could not stand it any more.
I let about 3 or 4 patches come through and it was so worth the wait, I needed to wait and show the little bit of patience that I possess. WORTH IT.
New missions, better graphics, fewer glitches (now that being said there are still some that are annoying, like when you hit someone with your… let’s say shovel and they are standing then the next thing they like explode into a red spray, not the best.
However I really love this game, I think it is a game to be reckoned with, the glitches however really do mark it down for me.
Something that I really love though, first of all, night play is not as scary as the first game cause you are able to upgrade and do things more. But there is a chase mode where you get more XP point and the higher the level, the worse and the stronger the things that chase you, level 4 (as you can see below) is when it is basically only Volatiles and they SUCK.
