No Man’s Sky

14 November 2022

No Man’s Sky definitely lead people on a wild ride and no I am not talking about when you take off in your cool ship (or not so cool… my new ship is nothing in comparison to some). I am talking about when it was first released, yoh, what a disappointment it really was; but these developers, instead of just rolling over and being like “damn”, they kept on updating it. Now it is really an epic game with a proper storyline (if you actually feel like following it) decent characters and epic vistas, unlike before. With every new update there is something for everyone, I personally LOVED when we got the Atlas, a place for wanderers and aliens alike.

I also love the idea of the freighters, I enjoy having a place I can put my stuff. The thing that I love the most is the flying element, that right there is perfection for me, being able to upgrade your ship then destroy pirates (maybe that is just me) or even mining asteroids (make sure you do this!). Something else that I love, in the updated versions, is being able to learn the languages when you go to a new system before you had to trade in order to learn a language… which never happened. Now you can learn loads of words and make friends with the natives of the system.

Negatives of the game, in my opinion, are that it can get really dull after a while, like mining and trying to find the elements you need to complete things. Also, the voice “inventory full” £&%$^£ omg it kills me. I KNOW YOU ARE FULL, I AM BUSY MINING!

So No Man’s Sky gets: 7.4/10 (this score is subject to change with the updates)
